Scholarships in All India

These scholarships are open to students anywhere in India, regardless of home state. They are funded by companies, trusts and education-finance providers rather than a single government portal, so each one has its own application site and timeline. Check the official link for every scheme you qualify for before its window closes.

ScholarshipTypical windowAmountIncome limit
Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) Expected: Aug–Sep ₹10,000 per annum for 3 years Preference given to lower income families
GyanDhan Scholarship Expected: Aug ₹1,00,000 one-time award No specific income limit

How these all-India scholarships work

Unlike state schemes, the awards on this page do not run through a single government portal. The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship supports students in diploma and vocational courses, the GyanDhan Scholarship comes from an education-finance company, and the Sage IT India Scholarship is a corporate-funded award — each with its own eligibility rules and application form.

Because there is no common deadline, treat the window shown above as a reminder to open each scheme's official page and check whether applications are live. Private and corporate scholarships often run to a fixed date and do not extend, so applying early matters more here than with government schemes.

National scholarships All India students can also claim

These 10 schemes are funded by the central government rather than by All India, so students here can apply for them too. Open each one to check its eligibility rules, award amount and its own application window. Most run through the National Scholarship Portal.

Documents the All India schemes ask for

Arranging these early is the difference between applying and missing a window, because several are issued by an office on its own timetable. This list covers what the All India schemes above need on top of the documents the national schemes already require, with the scheme that asks for each.
